 Friends of
Goodwill was formed in 2006 to support and
promote the activities of Yayasan Goodwill
International, an Indonesian registered charity
which gives scholarships and leadership training
to exceptional University students who are the
future leaders of their country.
Structure
of the Friends is a loose-knit informal group of
individuals who support the Yayasan. There
are chapters in Indonesia, the United States and
Europe. Friends
comprise, past scholarship recipients,
trainers, supporters, past sponsors, Yayasan
officials, and their
friends and family.
Objectives
of the Friends are:
- to raise funds
for Yayasan Goodwill International
- to promote
awareness of the Yayasan in Indonesia and
Internationally
Membership
of the Friends of Goodwill is
free, and is open to anyone willing to
actively support the objectives and functions of
the Friends.
Chairman of the
Friends is Mrs Mizue Hara, who is also the
Chairman of Yayasan Goodwill International.
Members are
shown below and are limited to 200.
